Gucci – Senior Director of Public Relations (Americas)
Summary:
Join Gucci as a Senior Director of Public Relations and be part of a team shaping the future of fashion. This role oversees brand-related PR initiatives (fashion and corporate) across the U.S. and Canada, supporting Latin America as needed. You’ll lead the Americas PR team, develop integrated communication strategies, manage media and influencer relationships, and drive Gucci’s cultural and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the PR team; define and drive short- and long-term strategies.
Strategic Communications: Design campaigns for brand image, product launches, store openings, partnerships, and fashion shows; align with global PR strategies.
Media & Influencer Relations: Build relationships with top-tier media, cultural influencers, and KOLs; oversee influencer strategy.
Corporate & Executive Communications: Support internal and corporate messaging, executive positioning, and crisis communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with merchandising, retail, digital, entertainment, and special events teams; partner with Coty, Kering Eyewear, and Gucci Watches & Jewelry.
Budget & Agency Oversight: Manage PR budgets and agency relationships to ensure alignment and measurable results.
Requirements:
10+ years in luxury PR with a proven track record
Excellent media and industry relationships
Strong management, communication, and negotiation skills
Knowledge of fashion, culture, and art
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DMR, Fashion GPS
Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and travel domestically and internationally
Work authorization for the U.S.
Work Location: New York City
Salary Range: $180,000 – $200,000 annually
