Title: Senior Manager, Policy & Government Relations
Required: 4 years of experience in policy or government relations
Location: Washington, DC
Who You Are:
- Confident in written and verbal communication
- Familiar with legislative and regulatory processes
- Background in health care/pharmaceutical policy
- Preference given for Capitol Hill experience
- Adept at researching legislative, regulatory and policy issues
- Attentive to details and committed to producing polished products
- Organized and task oriented; able to manage multiple clients at once
- Adaptable to meet changing priorities
- Professional, solution oriented and collaborative
What You Do:
- Establish and grow relationships with clients, policymakers and partners
- Maintain awareness of key policy and legislative issue areas
- Research, analyze, and summarize complex health care and education policy issues in written and verbal form
- Liaise with federal policymakers and their staff
- Oversee day-to-day support of clients
- Manage client projects, including planning and delivering on time products developed with colleagues and third-party vendors
- Direct and support junior staff
