Title:  Senior Manager, Policy & Government Relations

Required: 4 years of experience in policy or government relations

Location: Washington, DC

Who You Are:

• Confident in written and verbal communication
• Familiar with legislative and regulatory processes
• Background in health care/pharmaceutical policy
• Preference given for Capitol Hill experience
• Adept at researching legislative, regulatory and policy issues
• Attentive to details and committed to producing polished products
• Organized and task oriented; able to manage multiple clients at once
• Adaptable to meet changing priorities
• Professional, solution oriented and collaborative

What You Do:

• Establish and grow relationships with clients, policymakers and partners
• Maintain awareness of key policy and legislative issue areas
• Research, analyze, and summarize complex health care and education policy issues in written and verbal form
• Liaise with federal policymakers and their staff
• Oversee day-to-day support of clients
• Manage client projects, including planning and delivering on time products developed with colleagues and third-party vendors
• Direct and support junior staff
