We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to architect Airtable’s social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X, and build out the program with real intention. This role calls for someone who can build an overarching social strategy with distinct, channel-specific approaches that reflect how audiences actually behave on each platform. You’re inheriting a program with momentum, and your job is to take it further.
The ideal candidate thinks like a journalist with a beat, is proactive in their social media approach, and is a self-starter who does their best work without much direction. You’ll also utilize AI to optimize workflows and get strong outputs from them.
You’ll work closely with Brand, PMM, Content, and Events to keep social connected to everything happening at Airtable — product launches, campaigns, live events, and cultural moments.
What you’ll do
Strategy Architecture
– **Design and own strategy** — Design and own an overarching social media strategy with a clear point of view, and develop channel-specific approaches that reflect the distinct dynamics of LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
– **Define strategic frameworks** — Define the framework that governs content priorities, platform investment, voice, and cadence across channels, and evolve it as the landscape shifts.
– **Build AI-powered workflows** — Build and iterate on AI workflows that reduce time spent on repetitive tasks and increase bandwidth for strategic and creative work.
– **Treat AI fluency as advantage** — Stay current on AI tool evolution and factor that into how Airtable shows up in AI conversations on social.
– **Write platform-native copy** — Write human-sounding, platform-native copy that earns engagement.
– **Track AI and tech trends** — Synthesize industry and cultural trends into differentiated, timely social narratives.
– **Turn insights into content pillars** — Translate analytics, trends, and internal insights into always-on content pillars.
– **Monitor KPIs** — Identify and track platform-specific KPIs to refine strategy over time.
– **Collaborate across teams** — Work with Marketing, Creative, Events, and agency partners to build cohesive, channel-adapted narratives.
Execution & Content Creation
– **Develop agentic AI workflows** — Build and refine AI agents that support research, drafting, monitoring, and more.
– **Plan and publish content** — Plan, create, schedule, and publish high-quality content across all channels.
– **Own the content calendar** — Manage the social calendar end-to-end for timeliness, relevance, and brand alignment.
– **Exceptional copywriting** — Maintain high attention to detail in all written content.
– **Appear on camera** — Represent Airtable confidently on camera for short-form video, demos, commentary, or thought leadership.
– **Engage community** — Respond to comments and DMs, moderate conversations, and build trust.
– **Support paid social** — Collaborate with performance marketing to support traffic and conversion goals.
Analytics & Optimization
– **Track and report metrics** — Report weekly and monthly on key performance metrics.
– **Use data for optimization** — Apply insights to refine content and strategy.
– **A/B test tactics** — Test formats, timing, and engagement approaches to improve performance.
Who you are
– **5–7 years experience** in social media marketing, ideally in fast-paced B2B or tech.
– **Proven strategy builder** with experience developing differentiated, channel-specific social strategies.
– **Journalistic mindset** — proactive, consistent, and opinionated about industry and cultural shifts.
– **Deep AI curiosity** — actively experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Descript.
– **Comfortable on camera** — able to present ideas and appear in content without heavy production.
– **Strong storytelling skills** across formats.
– **Proficient in social tools** — Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics.
– **Excellent organization** — able to manage multiple workstreams with clarity.

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience.
For all work locations including remote, the hourly rate for this role is:
$100 – $120 USD
