# SOF Policy Staff Officer
*TS/SCI Clearance required for consideration*
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an SOF Policy Staff Officer to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) based in Arlington, VA. This position is a full‑time onsite role located at the Pentagon. The selected candidate will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and overseeing influence, deception, and perception management activities while supporting senior Department of War leadership and Intelligence Community stakeholders.
## Key Responsibilities
– Develop and promulgate strategies and plans for Department of War influence, deception, and perception management‑related operations, activities, and investments.
– Assist leadership with oversight and governance activities, including staff assistance visits, compliance inspections, and program reviews.
– Develop and coordinate staff packages containing time‑sensitive requirements supporting leadership decisions and operational objectives.
– Produce and disseminate reports, executive summaries, and briefings for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials.
– Collaborate with stakeholders across the Department of War, Intelligence Community, and other partner organizations to ensure synchronization of operational objectives.
– Analyze policy, operational requirements, risk assessments, and planning initiatives to support strategic decision‑making.
– Provide subject matter expertise on influence, deception, and perception management activities and associated policy development efforts.
– Support senior leaders with recommendations, research, and coordination related to sensitive activities and special programs.
## Requirements
– Active TS/SCI Clearance required
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in policy development or policy analysis within the Department of War or related national security organizations
– Experience supporting assessments, operational requirements, risk analysis, operational planning, or related strategic initiatives
– Demonstrated experience developing executive‑level briefings, reports, and policy documents
– Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior government officials and stakeholders
– Experience working within Joint Staff, OSD, Combatant Command, or Intelligence Community environments preferred
## Compensation
**Salary Range:** $125,000 – $150,000 depending on experience
