**Salary Range:** $107,000.00 – $198,500.00

## Introduction

We are seeking an experienced global privacy professional to manage and support the execution of our privacy program across international markets. This role will partner closely with Legal, Security, Product, HR, Marketing, and IT teams to ensure compliance with evolving global privacy regulations while enabling business growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands‑on privacy expert with strong knowledge of international privacy laws, operational privacy programs, data governance, and regulatory compliance in a global organization.

## What You Will Do:

– **Lead global privacy program** — Manage day‑to‑day operations of the company’s global privacy program and initiatives.
– **Provide regulatory guidance** — Advise on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and other international data protection laws.
– **Support BDR compliance** — Oversee Back Up and Disaster Recovery compliance, ensuring responsible data collection, usage, retention, governance, and stewardship.
– **Implement privacy by design** — Partner with cross‑functional teams to embed privacy principles into products, systems, and business processes.
– **Conduct privacy assessments** — Perform privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and risk assessments for new initiatives and technologies.
– **Support privacy operations** — Manage data subject rights requests, consent management, retention practices, and operational privacy workflows.
– **Collaborate on incident response** — Work with Information Security and Legal teams on incident response and data protection matters.
– **Develop privacy documentation** — Maintain and enhance privacy policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
– **Monitor regulatory changes** — Track global privacy law developments and support organizational readiness.
– **Support vendor reviews** — Conduct vendor privacy reviews, third‑party risk assessments, and cross‑border data transfer evaluations.
– **Provide business‑focused guidance** — Offer practical privacy advice to stakeholders across the organization.
– **Assist with audits** — Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance reporting activities.

## To Be Successful You Will Have:

– **Bachelor’s degree** — Required; advanced degree or privacy‑related certifications preferred.
– **7+ years experience** — In privacy, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, or related fields.
– **Strong regulatory knowledge** — Understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks.
– **Multinational program experience** — Experience supporting or managing privacy programs in global organizations.
– **Balanced compliance approach** — Ability to align regulatory requirements with practical business needs.
– **Collaboration and communication** — Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders effectively.
– **Privacy operations tools** — Experience with governance tools, consent management platforms, or data mapping tools preferred.
– **Professional certifications** — CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent strongly preferred.
– **AI and emerging tech exposure** — Familiarity with AI governance, digital marketing privacy, or emerging technology regulations.
– **International collaboration** — Experience working with global teams and data governance initiatives.
