Key Role:

Provide strategic communications, thought leadership, project management, and expertise in supporting the management of a joint program office for the DoD and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Manage and support business operations and oversee and support all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project. Prepare reports and other public facing deliverables for upper management, senior stakeholders, and Congress regarding project status and major milestones. Review, analyze, and evaluate client and business needs, document requirements, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-5+ years of experience with delivering products and services to meet client needs

-3+ years of experience with enterprise-level projects and producing client-ready strategic communications deliverables

-Experience with branding, marketing or strategic communications
-Ability to foster and strengthen client relationships

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting a DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Program Management Office (PMO), Joint Program Office (JPO), or other DoD organization

-Experience with serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader in a field of expertise

-Ability to conduct comprehensive data gathering and analysis, generate quantitative and qualitative findings, and tailor key points to targeted stakeholder groups
-MA or MS degree

-Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, Master of Change Management, Lean Agile Scrum Master, Strategic Communications or Marketing Specialist
