Vice President, BGR Public Relations

BGR Group is seeking candidates for a vice president of public relations in Washington, D.C. The role in BGR Public Relations would include managing and collaborating with a team of professionals that conducts issue-related campaigns in Washington and state capitals. Candidates should have at least six-to-ten years of experience in public relations, especially on issue-related matters. The candidates should have experience devising strategies that solve problems for clients and the basic skills of crafting, editing, and pitching press releases, op-eds, and other content to external audiences, managing inbound inquiries, and occasional ghostwriting. In addition, the candidates should be able to manage video editing and graphic design projects and engage in social media, grassroots activation, and targeted advertising efforts.
