House Majority PAC is an organization designed to hold Republicans accountable and help elect more House Democrats. House Majority PAC is committed to building a long-term organization that can take on the Republican outside groups in the battle for the House Majority.

Primary Purpose

The Social Media Editor will be responsible for developing video content across social media platforms to further HMP’s strategic goals. To apply, please submit a resume.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and develop video content across social media platforms to further HMP’s strategic goals.
  • Assess and execute House Majority PAC’s digital rapid response needs.
  • Monitor news and identify offensive opportunities to hold House Republicans accountable.
  • Establish and grow HMP’s presence on newer social media platforms including Twitter, Bluesky, and TikTok.
  • Pull audio, video, and news clips to create original content.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting Democratic values and causes.
  • At least one campaign cycle of digital experience on a campaign or similar experience in a House office.
  • Experience with the creation and management of time-sensitive materials.
  • A background in social media content production.
  • Initiative to identify needs, take charge of tasks, and get things done on an accelerated timeline.
  • Sense of humor, ability to have fun, and an interest in working within a high-performing team environment.

Job Details

  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Start Date: January-February 2025
  • Travel: Some travel required
  • Salary: Starting at $70,000 annualized, commensurate with experience

This is a temporary, cycle-based, at-will position with an anticipated end date of no later than December 15, 2026.
