DSCC Senior Political and Engagement Director
The DSCC is hiring a Senior Political and Engagement Director for the 2026 election cycle to focus on building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, managing the political landscape in key Senate battleground states, and supporting senior leadership.
The DSCC Senior Political and Engagement Director will report to the Deputy Executive Director and work closely with various departments throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work with Deputy Executive Director to develop DSCC’s overall political and engagement strategy and maintain relationships with key strategic and allied partners
- Exercise primary responsibility for building programs for effective coalitions and constituency work, including management of staff
- Build, maintain, and manage relationships with political and coalition leads in key Senate battleground states
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic political planning as a key member of the political team
- Work with Deputy Executive Director to manage and maintain key stakeholder relationships, including support for partner endorsements and candidate questionnaires
- Provide support and strategic advice to campaign political teams
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have 6–8 years of relevant work experience. Committee and/or campaign experience in a previous position strongly preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management, verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and maintain constant communication with your teammates
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and an ability to demonstrate multicultural competence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Drive suite
The salary for this position is $150,000.
