Organization: Global Refuge
Location: Baltimore, MD
Date Posted: 09/05/2025

If you are passionate about transforming communities with a mission-driven organization, then we have the opportunity for you!

Reporting to the Director for Mobilization and Faith Relations, the Mobilization Officer is responsible for stewarding Global Refuge’s Ambassador and Volunteer networks and the programs, training, and communication channels they participate in throughout the year. The role will connect Ambassadors and Volunteers to timely advocacy needs, seasonal and annual initiatives like Hope for All, Hope for the Holidays, and Neighbor Kits, and provide the training and communication required to retain active supporters.

This position curates public participation in the work of welcome on behalf of Global Refuge. It also supports the Director in maintaining existing faith networks by collaborating on regular communications, public speaking, and preaching, as well as tracking metrics for engagement of each constituent group.

The Mobilization Officer will “equip the public to live out the work of welcome through education…and tangible action,” a vital part of Mobilization and Faith Relations’ purpose statement. When applicable, this role involves planning and executing events for education, recruitment, and celebration, including but not limited to the annual Hope for the Holidays event each December. The role collaborates with relevant offices for successful implementation, including the President’s Office, the Advocacy Team, Programs, Direct Legal, and Development.

The Mobilization Officer must have strong organizational skills, public speaking ability, and be able to manage their time effectively across a variety of tasks. Occasional travel to staff events and representing Global Refuge among networks and faith communities will be required.
