Job Description
As Global Partner Engagement & Activation Director, you will own the strategic frameworks that define how Sage engages, activates, and scales its global partner ecosystem. You will set the global partner messaging foundation, drive partner engagement and activation at scale, build powerful listening vehicles, and translate insight into industry go-to-market execution through partnerships, accelerating partner-led growth and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, Enablement, and Events, driving message coherence, eliminating duplication, and elevating the overall partner experience.
- Serve as the executive owner and central orchestration point for all outbound partner engagement, ensuring alignment with Sage’s corporate narrative, partner strategy, and commercial priorities.
- Set the strategic direction and governance for a unified, scalable partner engagement framework that is adopted consistently across all Sage business units.
- Act as the executive advocate for the partner voice internally & externally, ensuring engagement reflects partner needs, market realities, and the commercial context in which partners operate.
- Oversee the development of an integrated partner engagement calendar, ensuring global visibility, prioritization, and cadence of high-impact messaging.
- Provide editorial and strategic leadership for content creation, ensuring all partner engagement reinforces Sage’s value proposition, sharpens partner understanding, and increases engagement.
- Establish and govern measurement frameworks to assess engagement performance, leveraging partner feedback, engagement analytics, and data-driven insights to continuously optimize.
- Shape and influence the evolution of Sage’s partner portal and digital channels, ensuring they serve as modern, frictionless, high-value communication platforms.
- Build & deliver external executive engagement and closed loop process: Ensure alignment, sequencing, logistics, and stakeholder coordination, translating executive messages into clear, high-impact internal narratives that reinforce the partner strategy across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of industry-led Go-to-Market models and partner-driven growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across complex cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience leading B2B engagement and messaging at a strategic level, within a partner, channel, or ecosystem-driven environment.
- Exceptional executive-level stakeholder influence and strategic storytelling capability.
- Proven success operating within a matrixed, global organization, balancing regional needs with global consistency.
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, sales enablement, and Go-To-Market models, with the ability to translate commercial strategy into impactful partner messaging.
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
