Account Coordinator, Public Relations/Content Marketing
Organization: Reputation Ink
Location: Remote
Date Posted: 03/21/2026

A fully remote, woman-owned public relations and marketing agency focused on B2B professional services firms is looking for a sharp, proactive and detail-obsessed Account Coordinator to join our team working from home offices throughout the United States.

If you love translating complex ideas into clear, compelling stories — and you’re as comfortable crafting a pitch as you are managing clients — we want to hear from you.

TO APPLY: Please send a resume, cover letter and original writing samples to [email protected]. Applications without a cover letter and original writing samples will not be considered.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relishes the idea of working from a home office while doing strategic, high-impact marketing and public relations work for some of the nation’s leading professional services firms, including law, architecture and engineering firms
  • Works well with a tight-knit, friendly and supportive group of colleagues
  • Has excellent interviewing, writing and editing skills and is able to translate complex, technical information into crisp, compelling language
  • Has experience developing story angles, pitching the media, securing interviews and coaching clients on media relations best practices
  • Has the ability to travel to client offices occasionally per client requests (all travel is reimbursed and infrequent)
  • Is adept at using and learning new technologies, such as email, CRM, social media, project management and other collaboration platforms
  • Is an excellent communicator and can build relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors and partners in a remote environment
  • Experience working with law firms or other B2B professional services firms is a plus
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field

As a Member of the Reputation Ink Team, You Will

  • Interview a corporate attorney about a recent litigation win, review court documents, write a press release and distribute the release to relevant media contacts
  • Interview an engineer about a project or industry topic, review project information and research industry trends, write a blog post or case study and suggest ways to promote it
  • Brainstorm newsworthy pitch angles and article topic ideas
  • Research editorial calendars and build media lists
  • Pitch an attorney, engineer, architect or other professional to serve as a media source on a breaking story
  • Write a wide array of copy for materials such as blog posts, e-books and digital guides, bylined articles, case studies, infographics, websites, presentations, press releases, fact sheets, press statements, emails, social media posts and more
  • Collaborate with and oversee graphic designers, digital animators, videographers and other professionals to develop digital marketing assets

Benefits and Environment

As a “virtual” agency, all Rep Ink team members work from home offices spread across the United States and Canada, serving clients across the U.S. We were remote before COVID-19, and we’ll never ask you to return to an office. Working remotely is part of our culture, and we value the work-life balance this structure provides.

In addition to our work-from-home lifestyle, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • Two weeks of paid vacation in the first year, three weeks in years two through four, and four weeks after year five
  • 11 days of recognized public holidays
  • Bonus week off between Christmas and New Year’s (entire company is off)
  • Health, dental, disability and life insurance
  • 401(k) company match (beginning after one year of employment)

What to Expect from Our Hiring Process

Due to the high degree of emphasis we place on strong writing skills, we ask candidates who we believe are a strong fit to complete two to three paid freelance writing assignments as part of the interview process.

Account Coordinators require 1 year of agency or professional services firm experience, and the salary range for the role is $45,000 to $65,000 (individual salary is dependent on a wide range of factors).
