# Manager, Communications – AASLD
AASLD, an association for scientists and healthcare providers in the field of liver disease, seeks a talented **Manager, Communications** to join our communications team. The **Manager, Communications** is responsible for owning and executing communication initiatives that enhance the AASLD and AASLD Foundation’s communications efforts, ensuring brand cohesion and messaging alignment across all internal and external communications channels.
Reporting to the Director, Communications, this individual will support and oversee internal and external communications, media relations, content creation, and digital strategy to ensure consistent and effective messaging aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of **3–5 years of communications or public relations experience**, or related field—or equivalent experience. Association experience is preferable. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience producing content across digital and print channels. They should possess strong project‑management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, ideally with experience managing across multiple departments and outside vendors. Individuals must be highly organized with keen attention to detail and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
