Successful communicators understand that messaging and reporting structures need to be ready and key stakeholders prepared before the heat of the moment. Our first session will outline how to develop a crisis plan, train spokespeople and test your messaging before the spotlight is on you. We’ll discuss:
- Creating a successful crisis communications plan and identifying potential pitfalls
- Understanding the key stages – and the importance of – integrating quantitative measurements and new software platforms
- Developing a holistic approach focused on your organization’s priorities that includes coordinating plans with corporate communications, legal and government relations stakeholders

Communicating as a Trusted Voice
As more organizations are being asked to respond to political, social and operational issues, firms need to understand when, where and how to react. Are you communicating as a respected institution with one voice? In this session, we will discuss:

- How to identify a trusted internal spokesperson and third-party allies
- How to determine success and measure the impact of your efforts
