Constructing a Communications Framework
It’s a new year, and your organization is facing new challenges, new elected leaders, new issues, new stakeholders and heavily segmented audiences. Make sure your communications team is ready. Prepare your organization for a strategic pivot and identify new strategies to amplify your message. In this session, we will discuss:
- How to structure your teams, responsibilities, budgets and external partners
- Developing a communications plan that supports media outreach, reputation management, employee engagement and related advocacy campaigns
- How to develop successful long- and short-term campaigns and measure the impact of your efforts

Communications Strategies for High-Impact Public Affairs Campaigns
The beginning of the year is an important time to reevaluate the best communications strategies to advance your shifting public affairs objectives to meet the changing political environment. This session will cover:
- Constructing messages around issues with a high potential for movement in the new Congress and administration
- Advancing messages and conducting media outreach using both traditional and new platforms, technology and tactics
- Identifying target audiences and stakeholders to communicate and advocate on your behalf
