Decoding the Digital Native

Every generation is a byproduct of its cultural period. For those younger than 40, a lifetime of rapid technological disruption and economic volatility has fundamentally altered how they validate and process information. In a world of infinite choice and fractured attention, how do you ensure your message is breaking through?

This session will:

  • Identify the specific social and economic drivers that move the needle for Gen Z and Millennials versus Boomer/Gen X cohorts
  • Dive into the algorithmic landscapes of youth-oriented platforms like TikTok, Discord and other emerging platforms
  • Analyze what younger media consumers demand in terms of information transparency and formats

Strategies for a Fragmented World

The traditional “one-size-fits-all” media playbook is obsolete. As the landscape divides between legacy media and decentralized social hubs, organizations must learn to address both. Join two industry leaders as they reveal how to navigate this transition and build bridges across shifting demographic divides.

This session will focus on:

  • Strategies for recruiting and sustaining a digital-first cohort of young advocates to champion your long-term mission
  • Practical steps to define a voice that resonates as “real” rather than “marketing” when engaging younger demographics
  • Leveraging the synergy among user-generated content (UGC), podcasting and strategic creator collaborations to drive high-impact engagement
