Public affairs teams operate in an increasingly crowded and fast-moving communication environment. While new digital approaches and AI tools are creating unprecedented opportunities to engage stakeholders, they are also intensifying competition for attention. As a result, the ability to plan, curate and deliver clear, targeted policy communication has become a critical capability for advancing advocacy objectives. This practical workshop will draw on the Council’s expertise in strategic communication for public affairs to explore the policy communication process from concept to implementation, covering audience analysis, message development, channel selection, execution and measurement.
