  • Session 2: A global public affairs campaign case study: From initial strategy to assessment of tactics, a seasoned public affairs practitioner will walk through a case study of an effective international public affairs campaign, including practical lessons you can apply to your work.

Strategic planning is an overarching pillar of global public affairs. This session will cover the fundamentals of creating, implementing and managing that plan, and answer how to:

  • Integrate core business priorities with your function’s goals
  • Develop a business mindset so that senior management understands how public affairs helps mitigate risk and open new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies that ensure effective cross-border coordination and issue management
  • Engage senior leadership and achieve key executive buy-in for your efforts
  • Define objectives, risks and opportunities, key stakeholders, and both planned and reactive strategy elements
