### Unified Communications Specialist

## How a Unified Communications Specialist Will Make an Impact
● Responsible for the architecture, configuration, and maintenance of worldwide Voice, Video, and Chat physical and virtual infrastructure.
● Installation of operating system and security patches.
● Assessing the applicability of vulnerabilities and maintaining security compliance of the Voice, Video, and Chat infrastructure.
● Provide support for customer scheduled and unplanned outages, regardless of scale and impact.
● Serve as support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians across all communication platforms.

## What You’ll Need to Succeed
● **Education:** Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● **Required Experience:** 8+ years of related experience

### Required Skills and Abilities
● Thorough knowledge of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies.
● Strong background with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Meeting Server, Unified Contact Center, and/or Microsoft Skype for Business.
● Experience managing virtualized applications or knowledge of how to manage virtualized applications.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
● Good communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to work as a team player in a fast‑paced environment.
● Ability to monitor and process Capabilities Service Desk tickets.
● **Certification:** 8570 compliant with a Security+ certificate is required.

### Preferred Skills
● Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and DHCP troubleshooting.
● Experience with Session Border Controller (SBC) and SIP detailed traces.

● **Security Clearance Level:** TS/SCI w/Poly
● **Location:** On Site

## Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is **$107,744 – $143,750**. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements, and could fall outside of this range.
