## About the Opportunity
The Digital Content Creator helps lead the Clinton Foundation’s presence across social platforms — driving reach, relevance, and pathways to revenue to advance the organization’s mission. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Digital Marketing, this role produces and distributes compelling, brand‑aligned content that showcases the Foundation’s work, leaders, and partners while cultivating an engaged online community.
The ideal candidate is an out‑of‑the‑box thinker with expert knowledge of current trends and internet culture. They will bring strong subject matter expertise on social media trends and platform‑native content creation, prioritizing video creation on Instagram and video‑centric platforms.
The Clinton Foundation Marketing and Communications team is responsible for developing external communications, campaigns, and creative content in service of advancing the work of the Clinton Foundation and understanding of President Clinton’s lifetime of public service. This team of communicators is comprised of writers, marketers, producers, media specialists, content and digital strategists, metrics and data analysts, and creative professionals.
## Core Responsibilities
**Content Production:**
Pitch, produce, and deliver social media content. Capture and edit original video content, and participate in all phases of video production from pre‑ to post‑production (filming, editing, color correction, sound design, etc.).
Collaborate with the creative, social, and marketing teams to develop engaging content that resonates across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and the Foundation’s global social media platforms.
Be an on‑air brand personality with high energy and enthusiasm for the work, including but not limited to: hosting guests on camera, explaining news or updates, providing context on historical milestones, etc.
**Platform & Editorial Strategy:**
Create platform‑specific social media plans aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities and calendar. Define and create branded style templates for new and existing social content. Manage the editorial calendar and track opportunities to spotlight programs, events, and principals.
**Influencers & Partnerships:**
Manage relationships with content creators and other partners and assist with developing an overall strategy to help the Foundation reach new audiences through social media.
**Analytics & Reporting:**
Create social media performance reports to help inform strategy and content decisions.
**Listening & Rapid Response:**
Monitor online conversation to identify risks and opportunities and to engage in trending or mission‑aligned conversations.
**Platform & Trend Expertise:**
Stay current on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices. Share new opportunities, platform updates, and innovative approaches.
## Minimum Qualifications
**What we’re looking for:**
– Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field required
– At least 7 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility required
– At least 2–3 years managing people/projects required
– At least 3 years operating in a similar role at a similar‑sized organization required
– Keen grasp of digital storytelling and platform‑specific best practices
– Knowledge of paid social, influencer engagement, or partnership amplification
– Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite), analytics dashboards, and performance reporting is a plus

## Compensation & Benefits
Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is **$88,500 – $98,500 annually**, depending on the experience you bring. This role is not eligible for overtime pay. This range is based on NYC market rates and may be adjusted if you will be working remotely.
