# THE ROLE
AG1 is seeking an inspired and passionate Director, Organic Social to lead and evolve how we bring our Brand to life, powering a healthy and performative customer journey through our social media ecosystem. This role will drive channel strategy and objectives, oversee planned and opportunistic/trend-driven channel programming, and lead measurement and optimization efforts in close partnership with our Paid Social team. As the steward of our “second and third homepages,” Instagram and YouTube, this role will bring a channel general manager mindset, ensuring these platforms serve as critical brand and business tentpoles.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be a key member of the Marketing leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to define and execute organic channel strategies, test new approaches, optimize our current activities, and bring data and measurement to our social approach.

# WHAT YOU’LL DO
## Social Strategy & Channel Ownership
– **Lead organic social strategy** — Oversee AG1’s organic social presence across core channels (Instagram, YouTube) and guide expansion into emerging platforms (TikTok, X, and others).
– **Define channel POV** — Establish each channel’s role in driving business goals and set success metrics (audience growth, engagement, composition).
– **Evolve global strategy** — Partner with regional leads to ensure a cohesive, consistent brand presence across markets.
## Content Strategy, Creative, & Programming
– **Develop data-driven strategies** that fuel growth and inform high-performing creative and programming.
– **Drive culturally relevant creative** including original content, creator partnerships, and standout community interactions.
– **Own the always-on calendar** — Build a social-first content engine aligned to key brand and customer moments.
– **Refine the content playbook** using structured evaluation and performance insights.
## Measurement & Optimization
– **Build a measurement framework** to track performance across platforms and inform strategy.
– **Partner with Analytics** to develop dashboards and translate data into actionable insights.
## Team Leadership & Operations
– **Lead and mentor the social team** to execute strategy and produce impactful content.
– **Manage external partners** including creators, freelancers, and vendors to scale execution and maintain quality.

# WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
– 7+ years of experience leading social at best-in-class brands
– Experience in DTC, Wellness, and Lifestyle brands is a plus
– Proven track record of driving creative innovation and scaling channel footprint and engagement
– A self-starter with a GM mindset who can build and manage a high-performing team
– Strong cross-functional operator
– Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
– High-energy, idea-driven, and deeply curious about social, brand, wellness, and culture
– Proactive communicator who uses documentation and reporting effectively
– Interest in cultural conversations across social media (health, wellness, sports, etc.)
– A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this role, the base salary range is **$145,000–$170,000**, determined at offer stage based on skills and experience. Total compensation includes base salary, performance bonus, and stock options for eligible roles.
