About the Role

As Executive Director, you will lead a talented, multidisciplinary team of scientists, lawyers, campaigners, and communicators. Your leadership will drive national and EU-level policy changes that safeguard fisheries, protect marine biodiversity, and support sustainable communities.

You’ll be responsible for defining and executing strategy, building partnerships, raising funds, managing teams across multiple offices, and serving as a powerful voice for ocean conservation across Europe and beyond.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven success in achieving policy change at national and/or EU level
• 10+ years of leadership experience, ideally in conservation, public policy, or environmental advocacy
• Strong fundraising, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Deep knowledge of Europe’s cultural and political landscape
• Passion for the ocean and a drive to create lasting, science-based impact
