## A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

The Manager of Grassroots and Political Programs will help lead employee engagement and manage and maximize relationships with external stakeholders, including trade associations, think tanks, community organizations, educational institutions, and advocacy groups. This role is responsible for advancing the organization’s public profile, policy priorities, and strategic relationships while ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all external channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and trusted advisor to Government Affairs leadership.

## How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

– **External engagement strategy** — Develop and execute comprehensive external engagement and employee education programs aligned with Siemens Energy’s public policy and advocacy goals.
– **Political program alignment** — Ensure political programs strategy is aligned with business goals.
– **Stakeholder relationship management** — Manage relationships and external engagement efforts with third‑party organizations.
– **Employee education** — Develop employee education materials.
– **Mobilization efforts** — Design and execute employee mobilization efforts.
– **External initiatives** — Help plan and execute stakeholder briefings, fly‑ins, events, and outreach campaigns.
– **Political and regulatory monitoring** — Monitor political, regulatory, and public opinion developments that may impact Siemens Energy.
– **Executive communications** — Prepare briefing materials, talking points, statements, and strategic memos for senior executives.
– **Representation** — Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and external forums as needed.
– **Consultant management** — Manage external consultants, vendors, and advisors as needed.
– **Compliance** — Ensure all external engagement activities comply with ethics, disclosure, and company policies.

## What You Bring (requirements)

– Bachelor’s degree required
– 5–8 years of experience in political programs, government affairs, trade associations, or a related field
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience advising executives and board members
– Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
