We are seeking a **Principal** to join the paid advertising team. Team members in this position will have a hands-on role in crafting, executing, and measuring cutting-edge digital paid media strategies for clients ranging from political campaigns to nonprofit advocacy groups to corporate public affairs. ## What You Will Be Doing

### Client Management

– **Lead client initiatives** — Lead and oversee multiple client initiatives or programs from conception through execution.
– **Manage work streams** — Manage small work streams across multiple client accounts, ensuring timely delivery and coordination.

### Collaboration

– **Cross-team collaboration** — Work collaboratively across communications, data, creative, and paid advertising departments on behalf of clients; build relationships within Precision.
– **Meeting preparation** — Be well-prepared for meetings, offer clear updates, anticipate questions, and propose solutions and next steps.
– **Guide junior staff** — Review and edit junior team members’ work and provide written and verbal feedback.

### Project & Time Management

– **Own assigned tasks** — Understand how work ladders up to larger goals, meet deadlines without reminders, organize documents for team sharing, manage multiple projects, and manage up when necessary.
– **Meet deadlines** — Meet deadlines set by the client lead.

### Strategy

– **Produce persuasive content** — Produce clear, persuasive content with minimal guidance; seek feedback and review junior team members’ work.
– **Conduct research** — Use available tools and sources to research and apply sound judgment, ensuring work aligns with strategy and long-term goals.
– **Identify strategy gaps** — Identify potential issues or strategy gaps early, recommend adjustments, and support teams in course-correcting.

### Paid Media

– **Media planning** — Develop media plans aligned with client objectives, audience insights, and strategy. Select appropriate platforms and tactics for campaign goals.
– **Campaign execution** — Launch and monitor campaigns across platforms. Continuously optimize performance based on real-time data, budget tracking, and benchmarks. Own the finance operations process.
– **Reporting & insights** — Track performance metrics against KPIs and provide actionable insights. Translate media results into clear narratives for clients and internal teams.

## What We Are Looking For

– **Paid media experience** — 4+ years of professional experience in paid media strategy, planning, and/or execution, ideally in an in-house or agency setting.
– **Project multitasking** — Ability to manage many different projects at once, including campaign setup, trafficking, and performance monitoring.
– **Attention to detail** — Meticulous attention to detail.
– **Communication skills** — Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– **Cross-agency collaboration** — Ability to work with colleagues across the agency.
– **Creative mindset** — Creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
– **Data analysis** — Analyze data and produce high-quality reporting.
– **Articulate strategy** — Articulate paid media strategy and decisions to assigned clients.
– **Develop media plans** — Assist with development of media plans and independently develop plans for small- to mid-size client campaigns.

We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office **50% of the working days in the month**.

**Salary range:** $85,000–105,000.
