Public Affairs Campaign Manager

As a Public Affairs Campaign Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to be in the front seat of one of Meta’s most strategic initiatives. We have an incredibly strong team tackling some of the most important challenges the company faces. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring we have a cohesive campaign strategy and seamless execution across each of our core functions. We are looking for an experienced professional who can partner with cross-functional teams in complex efforts at scale while maintaining clarity of vision and organizational awareness. The ideal candidate will bring significant management and leadership experience within a global organization or political campaign, or as an outside consultant. A successful track record of driving strategic cross-functional collaboration and experience in the political arena is highly desirable.

Public Affairs Director, Campaign Manager Responsibilities

  • Serve as the campaign single-threaded owner and define the vision and strategy for the campaign and related pillars to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
  • Act as a practical visionary leader who can communicate and execute our campaign mission and goals into actionable plans.
  • Monitor the development of related business issues that affect the company to inform our campaign strategy.
  • Develop strategies for addressing each issue and deploy resources to ensure effective management.
  • Build best practices to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Partner with company leadership to align key marketing, communications, legislative, and policy priorities across the campaign.
  • Be at ease interacting with and influencing multiple cross-functional stakeholders and management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience on the Meta Public Affairs team.
  • 10+ years of experience driving complex, cross-functional workstreams with a campaign mindset.
  • Experience in an Administration, on the Hill, or in a government relations, campaign, or public policy position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of demonstrated results in both political and corporate environments.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, a willingness to take initiative, be creative, and demonstrate a high degree of skill and judgment while working within an environment that places a premium on collaboration.
  • Strong strategic and management skills, with experience in creating and communicating a vision, both internally and externally.
  • Organizational leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate others, advance goals, and effectively manage multiple projects or roles in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Experience communicating complex concepts and programs into concise and credible messages at the highest levels of government and business, with a proven track record of delivering high-volume and high-quality work.
  • Eagerness to take a hands-on approach to build credibility, relationships, and knowledge within the company.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of economic, political, public opinion, and business factors that shape policies and decision-making.
  • Exhibit courage and conviction to challenge and defend ideas and strategies.

Compensation:
$287,000/year to $334,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only and do not include bonuses, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable.
