## What You Will Do
– **Manage ECOPAC** — Manage the company’s political action committee (PAC), including overseeing ECOPAC administration (solicitation, furnishing PAC checks, preparing for board meetings, liaising with Government Relations team, and supporting Government Relations EVP and GR VPs).
– **Conduct research** — Conduct and analyze research on public policy, government relations and political issues to support team objectives and strategies.
– **Design strategies** — Design and execute legislative and regulatory strategies and tactics for the portfolio of issues (e.g., federal immigration, cybersecurity, procurement policy).
– **Prepare materials** — Provide written reports, memos, spreadsheets and presentation materials based on research and other sources of information.
– **Lead projects** — Manage and/or lead high‑complexity, high‑visibility projects (e.g., facility visits, ECOPAC campaign) and provide updates to senior leaders (CEO, COO, General Counsel).
– **Represent Ecolab** — Represent Ecolab Government Relations during internal and external meetings and provide written or oral summaries, actions and recommendations.
– **Attend meetings** — Attend or accompany Government Relations team members to meetings where needed.
– **Collaborate internally** — Work with internal leaders, trade associations, and contract lobbyists to design and execute legislative/regulatory strategy.
– **Monitor policy** — Research public policy issues and keep key staff apprised of developments.
– **Coordinate PACs** — Coordinate political action committees, including record keeping, expenditures, receipts, and regulatory reporting.
– **Fundraiser strategy** — Develop strategy and recommendations for participation in political fundraisers and contributions.
– **Respond to inquiries** — Respond to inquiries made by legislators and other officials on behalf of constituents and other matters.
– **Plan congressional visits** — Lead planning for visits by members of Congress to Ecolab facilities, including logistics, staff coordination, executive briefings, and event staffing.

This role is based in Washington, D.C. Associate to leverage a hybrid office work model.

## Minimum Qualifications
– **Bachelor’s degree** in political science, business administration, communications, public policy, or a related field.
– **Eight years of experience** including supervisory experience or an advanced degree with fewer years.
– **Program leadership** — Proven ability to lead, develop and implement programs and processes.
– **Project management** — Previous project management experience.
– **Microsoft Office proficiency** at an intermediate level.

## Preferred Qualifications
– **Public policy experience** in politics and government relations.
– **Master’s degree** in political science, business administration, communications, public policy, or a related field.
– **Ecolab experience** preferred.
– **Communication skills** — Excellent written and oral communication skills.
– **Presentation skills** — Effective presentation skills.
– **Organizational skills** — Effective organizational, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills.

## Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is **$120,500.00 – $180,700.00**.
This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
Compensation is determined by factors such as experience, education, training, and geography. Ecolab complies with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
