Position Summary

ANSER is seeking a Senior Public Affairs Specialist to support Strategic Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) with the DTRA Strategic Integration (SI) Directorate. In this key role, you will provide strategic communications related to operations planning and guidance to the Strategic Integration Information Resilience Office in support of the DoD Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) mission.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine communications and public affairs department releases.
  • Support the management of communication and media relations for the directorate.
  • Ensure directorate and department messaging is communicated effectively and accurately to the public and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with communications and public affairs department members, government officials, directorate leaders, and other internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Perform other public affairs and communications-related duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in a public affairs department or similar department in a federal agency or supporting federal agencies or contracts.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
