## Team Penske Overview
Team Penske is one of the most successful teams in the history of professional sports. Competing in a variety of disciplines, cars owned and prepared by Team Penske have produced more than 600 major race wins, over 660 pole positions, and 48 championships in its 60‑year history.
Team Penske’s Creative Team helps oversee the team’s social media platforms, which have a combined ecosphere of nearly five million followers across NASCAR, INDYCAR, and IMSA. In addition to keeping fans up to date and providing unique behind‑the‑scenes digital content, the Creative Team also supports Team Penske’s Marketing department, helping foster relationships with the team’s 45 corporate partners.
These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: managing social media content and scheduling across Team Penske digital platforms, coordinating timely posts with the Creative Team, developing weekly and monthly editorial calendars aligned with content objectives, creating engaging short‑form content, and supporting partnership and sponsorship content requests in collaboration with account managers and drivers. This is not a remote role.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative. They will be able to work as part of a team and will work closely with all Team Penske departments, including but not limited to Partnership Marketing, Branding, and Licensing.

## Responsibilities
– Manage and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting and best strategies across varying platforms.
– Monitor social media trends and present new ideas to enhance the current content strategy to increase total followers and engagement.
– Develop and execute customized social media plans for partners, including content strategy, posting schedules, and performance goals.
– Participate in community management and crisis communications, including adapting messaging and posting strategies during live events.
– Collaborate with internal departments on social media requests and provide recommendations that fit business objectives and channel KPIs.
– Manage content and plan specific, timely posts alongside the Creative Team.
– Monitor performance analytics for all team social channels, analyze trends, measure results against objectives, and produce comprehensive reports to guide strategy and decision‑making.
– Adapt social performance insights into relevant reports for stakeholders and leadership.
– Drive and direct strategy for Team Penske social channels based on industry best practices and ongoing performance.
– Fulfill and coordinate partnership/sponsorship content requests with account managers and drivers.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously — both planned and unplanned.
– Create compelling short‑form content for Team Penske digital media platforms.
– Capture inner‑office and at‑track social media content of drivers, partner activations, and more.
– Track important team dates and milestones and create digital content for social media posts.
– Participate in yearly content capture planning and support execution.
– Serve as liaison between the team and sanctioning bodies to collaborate on social content programming and messaging.
– Serve as a resource for producing video content for partners.
– Participate in weekly meetings, brainstorming sessions, and provide detailed reports.
– Join calls with partners and the communications team to develop new and engaging ways to showcase partners and drivers through content.
– Be an adaptable team player in all situations, including performing other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
– 3+ years of relevant experience, specifically within social media and video content production and development.
– Advanced proficiency in social media tools with strong understanding of best practices and nuances of each channel (Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
– Knowledge of social reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Zoomph, META Insights) and experience creating reports.
– Strong copywriting skills with a focus on audience engagement and conversion.
– Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all organizational levels.
– Strong proficiency in project management, supported by working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, development, design, and database software.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.).
– Strong knowledge of motorsports is preferred.
– Previous experience working with production companies.
– Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
– Ability to work well in a cross‑functional team environment.
– Self‑starter with strong motivation to succeed.
– Ability to maintain the company’s professional image and message at all times.
– Ability to work weekends and travel frequently throughout the year, with heavy emphasis on race weekend travel and additional weekday travel as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with a travel‑intensive schedule.
