*This is an in-office role Monday-Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote*

The Job:
Rubenstein Public Relations is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications. Entrepreneurial spirit, superior writing skills and an energy devoted to helping companies develop strategic communications campaigns. The VP, should be passionate across corporate verticals and uniquely experienced to generate crossover media exposure, provide strategic counsel to clients and leadership.  A successful candidate will be collaborative, yet effectively demonstrate an independent but also collaborative work ethic.

The Work:

• Proven success in developing and executing strategic communications programs
• Foster and maintain a professional rapport with current and potential clients
• Develop impactful story angles and produce written materials that consistently secure top-tier coverage in online, trade, print, broadcast and online media outlets
• Deliver high-impact media exposure, consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
• Unwavering attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, bringing a sense of urgency to the task at hand with a proactive attitude
• Commitment to delivering outstanding client service, relevant written materials as well as providing both strategic counsel and hands-on results
• Expertise in navigating challenging situations in partnership with senior executives
• Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence

The Fine Print:

• 6+ years’ experience at a NY PR agency
• B.S/B.A in public relations, marketing, business communications or related field
• Strong media contacts and excellent writing skills
• Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Creative and energetic personality
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targets
• Strong communication, leadership/supervisory skills and the ability to multi-task

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $150K-$165k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
