A divided government isn’t unique to Washington, D.C. – some state capitals around the country are controlled by one party in the legislature and another in the governor’s mansion. This workshop will go in-depth into successfully navigating a divided state government while still notching government relations wins.

- Discuss how to advance your government relations goals in both instances
- Share case studies of how government relations “wins” were achieved in divided governments
- Explore strategies for gaining momentum on an issue when divided government presents a roadblock
