Responsibilities

Cross-Collaboration and ESG Leadership:

Ensure cross-collaboration between key ESG stakeholders (e.g., Audit, Finance, Legal) to assess disclosures, opportunities for improvement, and strategize a roadmap for future disclosures, both voluntary and mandatory.

Manage the ESG Leadership Committee, working with finance and internal audit teams to identify disclosure gaps and ensure compliance with mandated ESG disclosure rules, as well as voluntary reputation-building disclosures.

Corporate Affairs and Issues Management:

Support the creation of proactive corporate affairs and issues management positions, strategies, and processes. Collaborate with SMEs and key KDP functions to address priority reputational issues and opportunities for the company.

Monitor the external landscape, identifying and acting on trends, opportunities, and issues.

Proactively assess the landscape for impactful ESG rankings and disclosures. Collaborate with Corporate Communications on submissions.

Provide strategic reputation management advice and support to business functions through comprehensive issues management.

Sales Support and External Engagement:

Partner with sales teams and brands on external activations, content, and campaigns focusing on building/growing KDP reputation and addressing corporate priorities.

Support and track customer-required ESG reporting on behalf of the sales team.

Build relationships with key stakeholder groups and find creative and effective ways to engage.

Represent KDP in external industry and partnership forums as needed.

Requirements

Experience and Education:

6+ years’ experience in external affairs, corporate affairs, relationship management, government relations, or corporate communications.

Basic financial literacy preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred.

Preference for experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

Understanding of the ESG stakeholders and disclosures landscape.

Experience in managing and influencing corporate stakeholders.

Excellent written and oral communication skills that balance creativity, accuracy, and brevity.

Skills and Traits:

A strong networker who can build support and commitment from internal and external stakeholders.

Comfortable working in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.

Self-starter with the ability for minimal oversight and bias for action.

Up to 30% travel required.
