Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communications and Public Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of success in managing communication initiatives as well as in planning and executing public-facing events.

As the Communications, Public Relations, and Events Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside senior PSG/SE staff to create and implement comprehensive communication strategies – both for the firm(s) and our clients. Additionally, as the Events Manager, you will work alongside PSG/SE staff to execute, plan and manage large-scale national events and conferences.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this role also includes the following:

Communications & PR:

  • Developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.
  • Coordinating public relations activities.
  • Developing marketing and communication plans, including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
  • Assist in business development plans.
  • Assist in developing media relations strategies.
  • Managing Primacy Strategy Group’s social media channels (as well as our clients’).
  • Possess strong writing skills and utilize them to create social media content, draft press releases, and write talking points for keynote presentations, etc.
  • Managing media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and making appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.

Events Manager:

  • Coordinating with PSG / SE leadership to plan events according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
  • Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
  • Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in public relations required.
  • Significant experience in working on and executing public relations campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.
  • Proven experience working on and in events.
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • A knack for problem-solving.
  • Customer-service orientation.
  • A team player with leadership skills.

Education: BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
