Position Summary

This position is part of the newly integrated Marketing and Communications team and will contribute to the development of internal and external materials ranging from content creation to execution, distribution, and measurement for The Clearing House brand and its products and services. Scope of work includes maintaining a constant and meaningful presence on social media, in targeted events and conferences, media, press, and other online, in-person, digital and print channels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in working on all aspects of marketing and communications in the exciting and evolving payments space.

Qualifications Required

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications or related function
  • Excellent writing skills with understanding of how topics resonate with various audiences and an ability to create compelling stories and effectively present ideas
  • Must have practical knowledge of marketing techniques, market research and analysis, communication techniques, and social media metrics
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and to manage multiple projects simultaneously; must be flexible and adaptable to unexpected changes
  • Proven experience in product marketing or communications, with a consistent record of developing and implementing successful product marketing programs/communications plans
  • Ability to use insights, data, and statistical analyses to drive marketing decisions and optimize campaigns
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Skilled in utilizing print, digital, social, and event channels to execute B2B marketing campaign
  • Exhibits outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ideally, has familiarity with Salesforce, Salesforce Cloud, and website development

Qualifications Desired

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing and design team to develop high-impact marketing materials and graphic assets
  • Develop messaging and positioning for marketing, product and sales materials ranging from high level branding initiatives to specific value props and go to market strategies
  • Ensures value proposition and messaging framework is clearly and consistently delivered to the various markets and segments for new products, core products, and advocacy initiatives
  • Develop and drive social media strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content creation for social media, email marketing, blogs, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, videos, podcasts, webinars, to reach the intended audience and meet specified business goals
  • Write, track, and measure internal communications initiatives
  • Maintain awareness of, and proficiency in, current trends and practices in the marketing and communications disciplines (i.e., track and analyze campaign performance, provide actionable insights/recommendations for optimization, conduct research and competitive analysis)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required.

The anticipated annual salary range for NY-based candidates for this position is $90,000 to $135,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
