### What is the Role

E-Space is looking for an experienced government affairs professional with extensive experience working with the United States Congress, the Department of Defense, and Intelligence Communities. This person will be responsible for creating and implementing successful strategies to achieve our government services business objectives. This position reports to the VP of Global Affairs and is eligible for remote work across the United States.

### What You Will Do

– Day-to-day representation regarding Defense authorization and appropriations on Capitol Hill and with Executive agencies
– Support internal Government Services team in achieving business objectives with the Pentagon and Intelligence agencies
– Grow and maintain a network of relationships with Congressional members and staff to support strategic business opportunities in the defense sector
– Draft legislative language and testimony related to objectives
– Monitor legislation and hearings, reporting internally
– Monitor and analyze federal/defense budgets, legislative proposals, and appropriations
– Develop materials for key audiences in alignment with E-Space Government Services goals

### What You Bring to This Role

– A Bachelor’s degree
– 5+ years of professional experience working on legislative matters in the private sector, a Congressional office, an Executive agency, and/or the Intelligence Community
– Active clearance preferred

### Bonus Points

– Direct experience with NDAA, appropriations, budget planning, and development
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Experience working on issues directly related to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other agencies with space capabilities or responsibilities
– Knowledge of space/satellite services industry
– Knowledge of satellite systems and defense/Intelligence Community programs
– Knowledge of U.S. federal contracting and acquisition practices

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured, and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge, and direct experience in LEO satellite component development, design, and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience, we’ll be immediately wowed.
