The Opportunity
The Adobe Public Policy and Government Relations team is looking for an innovative and well-connected federal government relations professional to work and develop in a dynamic and exciting environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communications and writing ability, high energy level, and have a curiosity about the constantly evolving technology policy and modernizing government through IT advancements. The position reports to the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy in Adobe’s Washington, DC office.
What You’ll Do
Advocate for Adobe products and policy with a specific focus on the executive branch.
Work closely with the wider Adobe government relations team, including legislative affairs, policy, and global counterparts.
Collaborate with key leaders in the US Government to establish partnerships that improve Adobe’s brand recognition and perspectives.
Focus on technology policy, including AI, IT modernization, content authenticity, creative rights, and consumer protection.
Support the development of important business objectives through internal planning and external implementation.
Work closely with the Adobe public sector sales team to enhance US Government relationships through product knowledge and awareness.
Represent Adobe at government-industry events and trade association meetings; strategically build out your portfolio of partnerships and engagements to advance Adobe’s policy priorities.
What You’ll Need
5–8+ years of relevant experience
Familiarity with US Federal government processes, structures, and functions
Awareness of key technology policy relevant to Adobe, and a willingness to learn new policy areas
Understanding of AI-related concepts and the consumer protection policy space
Excellent interpersonal skills—both written and oral
Ability to form strong, research-based points of view and confidence in sharing and debating those views
Strong project management skills, including prioritization, leadership, and consensus building
Resourcefulness and decisiveness during ambiguity; flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
Self-starter mentality with a collaborative spirit
Receptiveness to feedback and ability to adapt based on it
(Preferred) Experience in the executive branch, such as the White House or a federal agency
(Preferred) Knowledge of the budgetary process

Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $87,800 – $165,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles express starting salaries as base salary, and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives through a new hire equity award.
