Public Relations Manager
SerpApi is the leading solution to integrate search data into web applications. Our API scrapes search engines, solves CAPTCHAs, and keeps up with changing page layouts in one simple GET request. Our customers include Nvidia, Shopify, Perplexity, Adobe, Samsung and more.
We are highly profitable, rapidly growing, and scaling our marketing efforts. As our first Public Relations hire you would take ownership of building, leading, and scaling our Public Relations efforts to achieve earned media in reputable publications.
Responsibilities
- Develop public relations strategy.
- Execute on public relations strategy.
- Allocate public relations budget between agencies, freelancers, and internal hires.
- Write press releases.
- Perform direct media outreach and develop relationships with key journalists, editors, and bloggers.
- Work internally with other teams in the company to uncover and create newsworthy stories.
- 5+ years in B2B public relations, ideally in SaaS or technology companies.
- Experience working in or with rapidly growing small companies.
- Proven success in achieving high-quality press coverage.
- Ability to regularly work during US business hours.
- Willing to wear many hats and adapt as the company grows.
- Experience in industries related to SEO, AI, or search engines in general would be a plus.
