As a key contributor, the Sr. Coordinator of Community Engagement Operations plays a crucial part in supporting our strategic plan for field operations, driving daily project operations, and providing vital support and training to our community engagement staff. Individual will work from home and can be located anywhere in the country.
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for supporting the operational tasks in the Field, focusing on key initiatives and events in order to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- As a member of the Nationwide Community Engagement Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting one or more specialization areas which could include revenue tracking, communications, training, volunteers, vacancy support, and/or general operational support.
- Assist Community Engagement leadership team in ensuring walk, special and endurance events achieve and/or exceed revenue goals.
- Support centralized field operation needs in collaboration with Senior Director of Revenue Operations and Area leadership.
- Support the Community Engagement team with assigned mission-integration goals for events, including supporting the local implementation of global campaigns.
- Support the Community Engagement team with data management training which may include producing invite lists, tracking RSVPs, assisting with registration, Luminate/StratusLIVE support and conducting prospecting research.
- Update and maintain organizational community and events calendar.
- Provide onsite support for events as needed.
- Work with supervisor to establish and implement timelines, goals and strategies for assigned tasks within the Community Engagement Operations portfolio of work.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 2+ years of work experience (administrative, peer-to-peer fundraising and/or special events) including grassroots organizing and volunteer mobilization; issue advocacy campaigns strongly preferred.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:

- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong administrative skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Superb customer-service skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Database knowledge a plus (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and/or Kintera and Luminate preferred).

- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to support programs and events.
- This role includes travel primarily related to events (approximately 20%), which at times involves overnight stays; occasional travel for team meetings may also occur.
- Event days include setting up and moving materials as well as being actively engaged on-site for prolonged periods.
- Regular use of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must have reliable mode of transportation (automobile, valid driver’s license, and insurance is required).
