## Job Description
Global Government Relations (GGR) is housed within Corporate Responsibility and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive policy, regulatory and advocacy strategy on behalf of JPMorgan Chase. This includes engaging in balanced advocacy with regulators and policymakers, providing thought leadership on how policies affect the firm’s clients and economic growth, and coordinating internally across regions and business lines on global regulatory reform issues.

As an Executive Director within the Federal Government Relations (FGR) team, you will collaborate with the Global Government Relations team to oversee legislative activities, analyze policy and political trends, and brief Congressional and Executive Branch officials on matters of mutual interest. You will also work closely with the firm’s business lines and clients to understand emerging issues and to devise, support, and advocate for public policy priorities that impact the firm and its clients.

## Job Responsibilities

– **Manage federal legislative issues** — Represent JPMC and engage policymakers at the highest levels of government
– **Engage senior executives** — Understand and advocate for key business priorities across internal lines of business
– **Develop relationships with policymakers** — Strengthen connections within federal legislative and executive branches
– **Determine priorities and strategies** — Represent JPMC’s interests in Washington
– **Coordinate with trade associations** — Maximize effectiveness through industry collaboration
– **Build industry coalitions** — Advance shared interests across stakeholders

## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

– **12+ years of policy/regulatory experience**
– Deep understanding of financial services and business issues
– Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, policy acumen, and strong work ethic
– Proven and effective lobbying outcomes at the federal level
– Strong relationships and experience navigating federal politics and legislative processes
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and senior‑level engagement

## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

– Strong project management and organizational skills
– Ability to excel in a high‑performance, fast‑paced environment while managing multiple deadlines
– Management and leadership experience is a plus
– Graduate degree or equivalent experience
