In this session, we will: 

  • Walk through different government relations team structures and share tips on how to determine which structure best fits your needs 
  • Discuss how to create, make the case for, and oversee your team’s budget 
  • Explain how to determine  when your government relations function’s structure needs to change (and how to implement that change equitably)

Communicating the Value-Add

In this session, we will: 

  • Discuss what metrics to consider when measuring your government relations achievements (and how to identify what data will make an impact with leadership) 
  • Walk through top tips for communicating the function’s value-add across internal stakeholders  
  • Share strategies for communicating results, including when a desired outcome wasn’t achieved 
  • Discuss methods for scaling your government relations function and determining the appropriate timeline or benchmarks to follow
