In this session, we will:
- Walk through different government relations team structures and share tips on how to determine which structure best fits your needs
- Discuss how to create, make the case for, and oversee your team’s budget
- Explain how to determine when your government relations function’s structure needs to change (and how to implement that change equitably)

Communicating the Value-Add
In this session, we will:
- Discuss what metrics to consider when measuring your government relations achievements (and how to identify what data will make an impact with leadership)
- Walk through top tips for communicating the function’s value-add across internal stakeholders
- Share strategies for communicating results, including when a desired outcome wasn’t achieved
- Discuss methods for scaling your government relations function and determining the appropriate timeline or benchmarks to follow
