Agenda

1:30 pm.     Defining Mission and Creating Motivation

At any given time, your advocacy team might be focused on multiple priorities but volunteer grasstops leaders don’t have the same bandwidth.  A focused mission with defined goals allows program leaders to take initiative, understand expectations and track progress.  This structure, combined with motivation that speaks to your ambassadors’ priorities, is key to cultivating effective and empowered leaders.

Hear from experts on the best ways to:

  • Create guidelines for grassroots activities that allow leaders some autonomy
  • Prioritize grasstops efforts in order to best utilize your ambassadors’ influence and time
  • Understand what incentives will motivate your program leaders
  • Form tracking and recognition programs to celebrate grasstops progress and success
