Whether you are just getting started or looking to expand your state regulatory advocacy efforts, this session will give you the overview and building blocks you need. Our experts will cover:

  • Navigating the interplay between legislatures and regulators 
  • Methods for monitoring and prioritizing regulations 
  • Coordinating regulatory advocacy with your other state and federal advocacy strategies 

2:15-2:30 p.m. – Break 

2:30-3:30 p.m. – Implementing State Regulatory Advocacy Techniques that Work 

Once you understand the big picture, how can you effectively impact the way regulations are written and passed? Our experts will walk you through strategies and examples that will include: 

  • Creating state regulatory advocacy plans that work  
  • Cases studies and keys to success 

3:30-3:45 p.m. – Break 

3:45-4:15 p.m. – Measuring and Showing the Value of Regulatory Advocacy    

To get the support and resources you need, your advocacy efforts shouldn’t be directed at external audiences only, but internal audiences as well. We’ll conclude our workshop by sharing: 

  • Metrics for showcasing the regulatory function’s value to the rest of your organization 
  • Methods for communicating internally about regulation before it affects your company’s bottom line
