Position Summary

Senate, House and Executive branch lobbyist with general lobbying and subject matter expertise on APCIA federal cybersecurity, data privacy, road safety and climate resiliency and related issues. Federal surface transportation reauthorization or appropriations background a plus.

Leads on other assigned APCIA federal issues and has comprehensive responsibility for all aspects of those issues including planning, lobbying and reporting and coordination of coalition, grassroots and public affairs efforts.

Position Qualifications/Education

5-10 years of specialized experience in the field gained through training and work that includes relevant federal legislative, policy, regulatory acumen in the areas of cybersecurity, data privacy, road safety, and climate resiliency and related issues that impact P&C insurers, consumers and communities.

Strong network of relevant contacts on Capitol Hill, with other thought leadership organizations, NGOs and other stakeholders.

Extensive working knowledge and experience with Congressional and executive branch process and procedures.
