What You’ll Do

  • Proactively Build Engagement: Drive community growth by identifying potential partners and attendees through creative outreach initiatives within the US region.
  • Own Event and Community Engagement: Take charge of your outreach efforts, nurturing potential partnerships and managing engagement pipelines to ensure smooth transitions from initial interest to successful collaborations.
  • Plan and Execute Events: Lead the planning and execution of community events ensuring the organizational goals are met.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with the key community members and partners, aiming for long-term collaborations.
  • Be a Community Leader: Stay ahead of industry trends and community needs, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance engagement and ensure our events and initiatives remain relevant, impactful, and community-focused.
  • Tailor Event Experiences: Conduct discovery sessions to understand community needs and challenges, then design customized events and initiatives that effectively address their unique goals and foster engagement.
  • Deliver Engaging Presentations: Create compelling event proposals and deliver impactful presentations that showcase the value and benefits of our community initiatives and events.
  • Foster Collaborative Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and outreach, to ensure smooth execution of community initiatives and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Monitor and Enhance Engagement: Keep detailed records of community interactions and event metrics to track performance and optimize future initiatives for better outcomes and reporting.

Must Have

  • Experience in Event Management: 3+ years of proven experience in organizing and executing community events and engagement initiatives. Experience working with SaaS companies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Event Planning: Strong understanding of best practices in event management, including strategy development, attendee engagement, and logistics coordination.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with community members and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Results-Driven: A goal-oriented mindset with a track record of successfully achieving and surpassing event and community engagement goals.
  • Team Player & Independent Worker: Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
