Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an Executive Communications Specialist with these qualities to join Kyndryl.

The Executive Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering on an internal and external executive communications strategy and plan to help advance Kyndryl’s position as an employer of choice. This experienced professional is responsible for all elements of the executive communications plans, from strategic plan development through tactical execution. They will spend time working directly with senior executives and be collaborative, but also very comfortable and driven working independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters videos, etc.).
  • Draft scripts, messaging and content for employee audience.
  • Write scripts, byline articles, talking points, speaker abstracts, etc., for external audiences.
  • Foster relationships with key internal collaborators.
  • Develop strategy for external speaking opportunities.
  • Foster relationships with conference organizers.
  • Pitch and place executives at conferences.
  • Collaborate with communications and HR professionals to produce content for a variety of internal mediums.
  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership – Organize broad communications events such as live, virtual town hall meetings.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for the position goes from $74,000.00 to $144,000.00 and is based on a full-time schedule. If you’re hired into New York City work location the compensation range for the position is $82,000.00 – $159,000.00. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • BS/BA in public relations, writing, communications, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 4+ years of communications experience
  • Proven experience as an executive communications specialist
  • Experience in speech writing and developing thought leadership
  • Solid understanding of project management principles
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Proficient command of English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • BS/BA in public relations, writing, communications, or relevant field
