Position Overview: International Trade Policy Manager
Analog Devices is looking for an experienced professional in international trade policy to join our Global Government Affairs and Trade team. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Government Affairs and Trade, the International Trade Policy Manager will represent the company in discussions with lawmakers, regulators, industry stakeholders, and trade groups to shape and influence public policy.
The International Trade Policy Manager will oversee a specific portfolio of issues, including trade agreements, export controls, customs, tariffs, and other international policies. Based on the legislative agenda and business needs, additional policy matters may be added or modified.
This role involves developing and executing strategies to advance Analog Devices’ goals and objectives and leading advocacy efforts to minimize policy and regulatory obstacles related to export controls, customs, trade facilitation, and supply chain assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate on policy development and priority setting.
- Utilize business and advocacy expertise to engage with key external government stakeholders on trade, international policy, and legislative issues.
- Identify emerging legislative actions and executive branch issues/policy trends that may impact ADI’s corporate objectives. Provide in-depth policy expertise and strategic insights on navigating both challenges and opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with important governmental leaders and their staff to support our corporate goals, seeking opportunities and mitigating risks that could adversely affect the company.
- Establish connections and act as a liaison with coalitions and associations of companies with similar interests on critical matters.
- Collaborate with the business units, serving as a resource on the external policy environment, and coordinate input on key messages to advise on significant issues and political matters.
- Provide counsel and support to senior management, including the Executive Leadership Team, on high-priority issues in their portfolios.
Required Skills and Experience
- BA or BS degree required; a law degree or an advanced degree in international trade policy or related fields is preferred.
- At least seven years of work experience on Capitol Hill, with a relevant executive agency, company, or trade association, working on related issues and a proven track record of securing policy results.
- A highly motivated, organized self-starter who can effectively prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Exceptional ability to analyze legislative and regulatory proposals, synthesize relevant materials, and produce impact summaries for both internal and external audiences.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate across all levels, from entry-level to C-Suite.
- Collaborative team player who leads by example and demonstrates a strong willingness to contribute at both tactical and strategic levels as needed.
- Skilled in building and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Information
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred in law or international relations.
Travel Required: Yes, 10-20% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits
Expected Wage Range: $121,440 to $166,980.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus based on personal and company factors.
