About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Head of Government Affairs. You will manage all government-related endeavors for Galvanick, including direct sales to the United States Government (e.g., US Department of Defense, US Department of Energy), policy engagement at Executive Departments and Agencies, and engagement with Congressional authorizers and appropriators. You will also architect our engagement with foreign governments, particularly Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
What You Will Do
- Manage and direct all government-related activities for Galvanick.
- Oversee direct sales to the United States Government and various foreign governments.
- Engage in policy dialogues at Executive Departments and Agencies navigating complex procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Congressional authorizers and appropriators to advocate for Galvanick’s interests.
- Establish and maintain relationships with foreign governments. You’ll be responsible for understanding their unique needs and maintaining strong, strategic relationships.
Who You Are
- A proven track record in government sales and engagement.
- You have led new products, services, or technologies from zero to SBIR Phase III or a Program of Record (POR).
- Strong understanding of how to navigate and shape the policy landscape.
- Demonstrated success driving the full life cycle of a US Government sales process.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with government entities.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Location
This successful candidate will be expected to be based out of either Seattle, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC. We are happy to cover relocation expenses.
