#### POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, AOTPAC, plays a key part responsible for overseeing all facets of fundraising and compliance for the Political Action Committee (PAC). This critical position requires working closely with the AOTPAC board to develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives while ensuring adherence to federal and state legal regulations. This role also involves leading grassroots advocacy efforts to engage AOTA members and volunteers in Congressional advocacy efforts and participation in AOTPAC. The Manager will interact with various AOTA departments, including Finance, Conference People, Membership, and IT, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

#### POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES:
– Lead, build, and implement – in partnership with the AOTPAC Board and Federal Affairs leadership – the fundraising strategy for AOTPAC, including annual strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, and event planning.
– Coordinate with AOTA staff and external contractors to ensure AOTPAC is administered and managed in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.
– Assist AOTA Federal Affairs team in strategic deployment of PAC assets, including budgeting and disbursement monitoring and analysis.
– Serve as the staff liaison to the AOTPAC board and AOTPAC micro-volunteers (members who work with the AOTPAC board to help fundraise and raise awareness of AOTA Federal advocacy), to help facilitate their fundraising efforts, provide guidance on statutory and regulatory requirements and AOTA policy, and support their meetings and elections.
– Create and curate content for PAC and grassroots communications, including newsletters, fundraising mailings, website content, and grassroots calls to action.
– Facilitate grassroots and grass tops initiatives as part of AOTA’s advocacy strategy, including overseeing AOTA’s Hill Day in collaboration with external vendors.
– Work closely with other AOTA departments to ensure the smooth running of AOTPAC initiatives, including external communications, managing events, and finances.
– Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
– Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

#### EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
– Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience as a PAC professional.
– Experience building and executing political action committee fundraising campaigns.
– Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
– Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as our volunteer leaders on the AOTPAC Board.
– Effective written communication required for effective fundraising and grassroots engagement.
– Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality to ensure fully compliant PAC administration and responsiveness to AOTPAC contributors, board members, and volunteers.
– Strong knowledge of Campaign Finance laws and regulations and FEC reporting rules.
– Experience working with PAC management software to ensure effective database management.
– Experience working with grassroots software is a plus.
– Knowledge of web content management platforms is also a plus.
– Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills.
– High level of organizational and time management skills, and flexibility in juggling competing priorities.
– Proven interpersonal skills, adept at maintaining communication and ensuring tasks or responsibilities are effectively managed.
– Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
– Capable of acting with diplomacy and poise.

#### WORK ENVIRONMENT (Remote/Hybrid)
