Grassroots & Outreach Manager Responsibilities:
The Manager, Grassroots & Outreach oversees the planning, execution, and coordination of robust grassroots and external advocacy efforts in line with IFPA priorities. This pivotal role involves:
- Managing strategies and engagement with volunteer leaders, members, and allies.
- Encouraging advocacy and participation in public policy events and campaigns.
- Supporting initiatives like The Washington Conference and Advocacy in Action.
- Facilitating policy activities to advance IFPA’s mission and objectives.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in grassroots organizing and advocacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and mobilize diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Understanding of public policy processes and advocacy tactics.
- Proven track record of campaign management and event coordination.
- Commitment to reproductive health and rights issues.
