## Summary

The Manager, Measurement and Analytics leads the development and implementation of a unified measurement strategy for U.S. Travel’s marketing, communications and digital initiatives. The Manager ensures that data and insights inform strategic decisions, improve audience engagement and demonstrate measurable value across the association. By translating performance data into actionable insights, this role strengthens U.S. Travel’s ability to plan smarter, communicate impact more effectively and continuously optimize results across all channels.

## Responsibilities

– Develop and manage a comprehensive measurement framework that connects marketing, communications and digital performance to organizational goals.
– Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across campaigns, channels (e.g., website, email) and audience segments, including engagement, conversion, retention and brand health metrics, to measure effectiveness and validate campaign strategies.
– Build dashboards and visualizations that deliver timely, accessible insights for Marketing and Digital, cross-functional teams and executive reporting.
– Analyze campaign and channel performance to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for optimization; translate findings into clear recommendations for content, creative and audience strategies.
– Guide testing and learning initiatives—including A/B testing, message and creative testing, and segmentation experiments—to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
– Partner with creative and content teams to ensure measurement and tagging requirements are embedded into campaigns and platforms from the outset.
– Advise on audience segmentation and performance benchmarks to inform targeting, personalization and channel mix.
– Lead SEO and AI-driven optimization (AIO) strategies by analyzing search performance data, identifying content opportunities and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve organic visibility, user engagement and conversion outcomes.
– Ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and uphold internal analytics standards and governance protocols.

## Education, Experience and Skills

– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information systems, business or data analytics (advanced degree preferred).
– 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, SEO measurement, measurement strategy or performance reporting.
– Expertise in analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, Salesforce, Tableau/Looker Studio, SEMRush or Power BI; and heatmapping tools such as MS Clarity or Hotjar.
– Experience developing KPI frameworks and integrating data from multiple sources to evaluate marketing and engagement performance.
– Strong communication and project management skills; ability to influence through data storytelling.
– Familiarity with data privacy regulations and ethical data management practices.

## Other

– Position based in Washington, DC. U.S. Travel staff work in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
– Moderate travel (up to 1–2 times per year) may be required.
– Salary: 80–90K with bonus potential.
