### Position Overview:
The Chamber’s Government Affairs Division—the organization’s D.C.-based in-house lobbying team—seeks a manager to help prepare correspondence to the House and Senate; assist the Chamber’s lobbyists with scheduling, research, and other administrative tasks; and help the team execute events and other projects. This staff member will collaborate with internal Chamber stakeholders across the policy divisions and the political affairs, communications, legal, and international teams.
### Responsibilities:
– Support the division’s team of 10 lobbyists with research, scheduling, and other activities.
– Serve as a point of contact for other teams across the Chamber.
– Help draft, edit, format, and disseminate correspondence to Congress and administrative agencies.
– Interact with senior leadership on correspondence approvals.
– Support and serve as the point of contact for the division’s Regional Government Affairs team.
### Qualifications:
– 2-3 years of relevant experience.
– Strong research, writing, editing, and database skills.
– B.A. or B.S. preferred.
The salary range for this position is $64,420.00 to $65,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
